“The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.” Psalm 34:15 

Today I was blessed to witness my prayers being answered.

I began work at Coldstone today, where I love it already. It leaves me smelling like the essence of ice cream, vanilla, and goodness. What an answer to prayer that after toiling about jobs for a week, and now I can see that the Lord had something better planned for me.

I have been spending a lot of my prayer time recently split between praying for the entire NMB team and our ministry with praying for the rest of my financial support to come in. I knew that God was faithful and yet I was almost restless with anxiety over that last $300. Today, this prayer was also answered. A family friend emailed me to say that my burdens have been lifted and he will pay the rest of my support. I was so astonished as I read the email that I was in tears during my lunch break. I am overwhelmed with appreciation and thankfulness. I know I still have other bills to pay and other money that needs to come in, but the weight has been lifted. Thank you Jesus.

He hears my cry. He provides. A beautiful picture of redemption.
