“Jesus heal all the sick people and make all the hospitals empty. Help all the people go to today, and if you have to, tomorrow.” Love the faith of a child!

This is a prayer from the mouths one of my old Youth Pastor’s daughters, Brianna. She is 5 years old, and wow – does she know how to pray! I mean REALLY pray. BIG PRAYERS.

When was the last time you heard any adult pray for hospitals to empty? Never. That would be outrageous. When I first saw this picture I’m thinking… what about the doctors, the nurses, they would all be out of jobs… you can’t just prevent sickness for eternity…

I mean this is reality right? We think of realistic ideas. You cannot just CLOSE a hospital. Well why not?! Little Brianna still has her innocence. She believes and trusts that the Lord can heal and can certainly do that in great and mighty ways. I want to pray big prayers. I do not want my worldly thoughts and worries to hold me back. And yeah it is easy to say and think, “I can pray big prayers….God, please [insert your own fearless/bold/undaunted prayer]” Do you believe it will happen? I truly think Brianna wants hospitals to be empty and knows it’s capable in her mind. It’s hard to believe things can happen, though.

Heal my relative with cancer. May the next time they go for a test, there is no sign of cancer and the doctors are astounded.

Double the size of our ministry, let us become so big that our meeting room cannot hold us.

Bring my entire family to the Lord and may they become so passionate they want to share with everyone they know.

It doesn’t always seem clearly plausible, does it? Yet.

Psalm 81:10 – I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.                                                                            

Jeremiah 33:3 – Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

He can and WILL do beautiful, magnificent, and surprising things. Believe it. Pray big prayers. Believe like Brianna and pray the unthinkable. You’ll be amazed.
