One. My good friend, Morgan, is officially a MOTHER! Welcome to the world baby Max Gapen! Eeek, how incredibly exciting!

Two. Wisconsin weather is truly unpredictable. 62 degrees yesterday and 40 degrees today? I enjoy snow when it’s winter, and with only 21 days until Christmas, this is winter. Bring on the flurries, it’s time.

Three. I’m teaching myself how to fast-walk. Around Whitewater I’ve taken up the habit of walking slowly wherever I go. This usually makes the walk not only more enjoyable, but better for noticing my surroundings. In Europe though, rumor has it that they walk EVERYWHERE. So, I’ll actually be needing to walk more than the seven blocks it takes to get to the other side of Whitewater. Thus, the need to fast-walk.

Four. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have four classes and for the life of me I cannot understand how I ever was physically and mentally capable of taking nine classes in one day during high school. How did I do it?

Five. I’ve become far too busy with life when I have an hour of free time and cannot think of one thing to do besides homework.

Six. Truth keeps me sane. With the looming and inevitable end of another semester, there are plenty of things to worry about, fight about, and probably just scream about. Yet, with all this is mind, I don’t need to stress. “….the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s.” (1 Samuel 17:47) This is truth, these are not my battles, nor am I alone.
