I recently watched this video and it struck a chord. How true that we forget the Saturday in between, we forget the “waiting seasons.”
Obviously God is in here. He is in England, but I think sadly, even in the past two weeks I have overlooked this too often. I have been reminded, tapped on the shoulder. Yet here I am still wondering, “God what is your plan for me here? How will you use me on a new campus, in this new place?” I am more like an ant searching for a hill than a rock among other rocks.
But this video speaks of God’s goodness and faithfulness, even when we don’t know the plan but have followed in obedience. When we are in waiting, we are looking to God for direction.
Psalm 90:14 – Satisfy me in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Psalm 94:22 – But the Lord has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge.
Still finding my footings here, I would surely say I’m in a season of waiting, but also a season of thankfulness. So much to be thankful for here, and in America, and in Jesus.
Thankfulness replaces discontent.
Yes, God is here.
